Rachel Szeliga spent the summer working at Chubb Insurance. As a Finance Intern, her tasks included assisting with monthly and quarterly closing procedures. Responsible for organizing and filing journal entries, and refreshing financial reports on a daily basis, Rachel was thrilled with the exposure she received to the world of business.
Rachel shares a very important lesson she learned: "Chubb thrives on the fact that all employees eagerly lend a helping hand to each other whenever needed." Rachel realizes that this corporate culture goes a long way to enabling the business to succeed. She is thrilled by the skills she acquired.
