Historic Planned Gift of $1 Million
Since co-founding Tri-County Scholarship Fund in 1981, Ed Hennessy has dedicated his time, energy and resources to helping inner-city and other financially needy New Jersey children receive a quality education at better, safer, values based schools. Due to his vision and that of his Co-Founder, the late Most Reverend Frank Rodimer, Bishop of the Diocese of Paterson, over 32,000 scholarships have been awarded and countless lives have been changed for the good.

Now Ed has added to that great legacy through a historic planned gift to Tri-County for $1 million.

As Ed says, "I think this cause is more important today than when I started it. I look around at the situation in the inner cities — the poverty, the under performing schools, and the lack of opportunity. If these children are not educated, I worry about them, and also about the future of our country. These children are the most valuable asset we have for the future."
