On November 20 the Young Professionals of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund hosted New Jersey’s premier young professionals charity event of the season at Dolce Hotel and Conference Center in Basking Ridge. Themed THANKS(for)GIVING, the event raised thousands of dollars to provide scholarships for financially disadvantaged students in Passaic, Morris and Sussex counties to attend private and parochial schools in grades K-12. Over 120 attendees came out for a night of charity, networking and entertainment in support of the cause. The night included an open bar, lavish hors d’oeuvres, music, a 50/50 raffle and a powerful new video on the work of the fund.
The fruit of Tri-County Scholarship Fund’s work is that children receiving Tri-County scholarships have a high school graduation rate of 99%, and 96% of that group go staright to college, often the first in their families to do so.
