Can I Help You Find Something?
- Emergency Covid Appeal | Tcsfund
Emergency Covid Appeal DONATE NOW (by CC, check or EFT) These hardworking parents have lost hours, jobs and their own small businesses. There are also dozens of new scholarship applicants who have never asked for our help before, but this year find themselves in great financial distress, unable to cover their children's tuition. Our scholarship waiting list has ballooned. While the K-12th grade independent schools are expected to open, the schools cannot absorb the tuition shortfall because they are also incurring significant additional costs to implement the proper health and safety precautions needed to protect faculty and students. The COVID crisis has left a great many of our inner-city New Jersey families without the income needed to pay their share of tuition to keep their children at their better, safer independent schools.

Fund A Student Tri-County Scholarship Fund awards three types of scholarships for financially needy students to attend one of our accredited partner schools. Donors can choose to participate at one of these three “Fund a Student” scholarship levels: K-8th grade student for just $2,000 per year. High school student for $4,000 per year High School Freedom Scholar: for $5,000 per year, representing an enhanced scholarship level for the most academically promising high school students, who maintain a “B” or better GPA. When you commit to a scholarship at one of these levels, you can choose to receive your student’s annual report card. Scholarship recipients must re-apply each year in order update their financial need status, but current students are given priority. Tri-County is committed to seeing each student through to graduation. The clear priority is to provide continuity of scholarship support in order to maximize each student’s opportunity for success. By Funding a Student you will be an integral part of that child’s life - providing hope and opportunity - and empowering your student to success. Hundreds of students are currently on our waiting list, hoping that Tri-County Scholarship Fund will find a sponsor for them. In order to move a child off of our waiting list we need to secure the funding for them for the duration of their tuition assistance—typically 5 years or more depending on their age or circumstances. Speak to the Tri-County staff about a giving level that supports the number of students that you would like to help. If you would like your donation to assist a student at your specified school, we can arrange that. With your named scholarship, you will be updated about your student(s) progess throughout the school year with correspondence from the student and their report card. Contact Us

Tri-County continues its 39 year mission of lifting children out of poverty through education - regardless of race or religion. 2020 Annual Awards Celebration A Virtual Gala October 26, 2020 PROVIDING K-12 SCHOLARSHIPS for financially-needy New Jersey students to receive a safe, quality, values-based education. FREEDOM through education By investing in the education of financially under-privileged children, Tri-County has discovered the antidote to multi-generational and systemic poverty. Since 1981, Tri-County has awarded partial scholarships for K-12th grade. Our partner schools have offered discounted tuition and have provided safe, disciplined learning environments. Parents and families have sacrificed to provide the tuition balance and have remained invested in the process. This mutual cooperation has leveled the playing field for our scholarship recipients, providing game-changing opportunities and maximizing our student outcomes.
