President and COO of PSE&G Ralph LaRossa Honored at 27th Annual Awards Dinner

The Twenty-Seventh Annual Awards Dinner for Tri-County Scholarship Fund celebrated the accomplishments of scholarship recipients and honored Ralph LaRossa, President and Chief Operating Officer of Public Service Electric & Gas, for the commitment he and PSE&G have demonstrated to education. Some 500 students, trustees, educators and guests attended the gala event that raised over $616,000 for scholarships for economically disadvantaged children in northern New Jersey.

16th Annual Golf Outing A Great Time For All

Date: Monday, June 2, 2008
Tri-County Scholarship Fund hosted its 16th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Morris County Golf Club in Convent Station. Played on Morris County's famed course, the event is a major source of funding for the education of inner-city children in New Jersey.

Tyco Chairman and CEO Ed Breen Honored at 26th Annual Awards Dinner

The evening of October 29th proved to be one of magic and inspiration. The event was Tri-County's 26th annual awards dinner, featuring Ed Breen, Chairman and CEO of Tyco International. Some 500 guests, including Tri-County founders Ed Hennessy (retired Chairman and CEO of Allied Signal) and Bishop Frank Rodimer, enjoyed the warmth, the inspiration and the fun of the evening.

Tri-County Seniors Celebrate Their Acheivements at Trustees Annual Meeting

On March 10, 2008 the trustees of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund held their annual meeting at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. But this annual meeting was different. In addition to the traditional business portion of the meeting, all the graduating seniors of the seven high schools supported by Tri-County were invited to join the trustees at a congratulatory dinner in their honor.

Tri-County Expands Its Offerings to Inner-City Students

Aware that an education is much more than sitting in class, Tri-County Scholarship Fund has been moving aggressively in the past year to increase the number of and range of "outside the classroom" learning opportunities it offers to its scholarship recipients.

14th Annual TCSF Golf Invitational

On June 13, 2006 Tri-County Scholarship Fund kicked off its year long 25th Anniversary celebration at the 14th Annual Golf Invitational which was held at the Morris County Golf Club in Convent Station.

13th Annual TCSF Golf Invitational

The Tri-County Scholarship Fund Golf invitational is recognized as one of the best golf outings in the state of New Jersey. The Golf Invitational is an exciting and festive day, with a buffet lunch, a shotgun start, prizes, 50/50 raffle and a cocktail reception.

2004 Annual Awards Dinner

Towering above the microphone at Tri-County Scholarship Fund's Annual Awards Dinner on October 25 was Terrell Williams, a Junior at Paterson Catholic High School and aspiring Division 1 basketball player. Williams served as one of the night's student speakers and praised TCSF for giving him the opportunity through educational scholarships to overcome life's hardships and attend a quality school.

Golf Invitational Scores $180,000

Tri-County's 12th Annual Golf Invitational was another remarkable success. The event raised $180,000, for a net of $126,000 that will go directly to fundscholarships!
