November 13, 2009: First Annual Toast for a Cause

The Friends of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund hosted its first Toast for a Cause on Friday, November 13. The Morris Museum offered its premises for the event which was dedicated to raising scholarship funds for financially disadvantaged children in Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties.

October 28, 2009: Farm Day 2009

Tri-County's Farm Day 2009 was held October 28th at Serenity Hills Farm in Hunterdon County, through the generosity of a TCSF Trustee. Farm Day helped TCSF recipients escape city life and take part in a hands-on learning experience outside of the classroom.

October 26, 2009: 28th Annual Awards Dinner

The Twenty-Eighth Annual Awards Dinner for Tri-County Scholarship Fund recognized the accomplishments of scholarship recipients and honored Robert Mulcahy, former CEO of the NJ Sports and Exposition Authority and recent Athletic Director at Rutgers University, and Rt. Rev. Giles P. Hayes, Abbot of St. Mary's Abbey and President of Delbarton School, for their commitments to education. Approximately 500 students, trustees, educators and guests attended the gala event that raised over $750,000 for scholarships for economically disadvantaged children in northern New Jersey.

June 1, 2009: 17th Annual TCSF Golf Invitational and Ladies Spa Day

Our children are the future. For more than 26 years, Tri-County Scholarship Fund has provided educational assistance to economically disadvantaged children. Hundreds of students each year depend on Tri-County for scholarships.

On Monday, June 1, 2009, Tri-County Scholarship Fund held its 17th Annual Golf Outing and Ladies Spa Day at the Morris County Golf Club (MCGC) in Convent Station, NJ. In addition to golf, there was a Ladies Spa Day. The day will included an expansive lunch and delicious dinner in the elegant surroundings of MCGC, the fifth oldest golf club in the nation. There was also a Silent Auction filled with unique items and opportunities, a 50/50 and prizes on and off the course.
