Mannan and Abdul Rab (Rob) Razzak were born in Bangladesh. Their parents, Nurjahan and Mohammad, decided to relocate to the United States in the late 1970s for better opportunities for their five children. They grew up in Paterson, NJ. Four of the five children, Wahed, Mannan, Nurnahar and Rob attended Public School #2 and Paterson Catholic Regional High School. While at Paterson Catholic, they were recipients of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund. Today, they are both on the Board of Trustees at Tri-County Scholarship Fund.
Mannan briefly attended the University of Notre Dame before leaving for Bangladesh for medical school. Rob followed his older brother's footsteps and also attended medical school in Bangladesh.
Dr. Mannan Razzak is board certified in Pediatrics and works as a pediatric emergency medicine physician at the University Hospital, Chilton Memorial Hospital and Trinitas Hospital. In addition, Mannan is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ. Mannan completed his residency requirements in Pediatrics at New Jersey Medical School. Currently, he serves as the Director of Razzak Family Scholarship Fund assisting students at Paterson Catholic Regional High School who graduated from Public School #2. He lives in Clifton, NJ with his wife, Nadia who is also a pediatrician.
Dr. Rab Razzak is board certified in Internal Medicine and will be working as a hospitalist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He has an interest in cancer research and is pursuing opportunities for a fellowship in oncology. Rob completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife, Nazleen, who is a physician and pursuing a fellowship at UCLA as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar, and their newly born son, Zane.
