On Monday, June 3, the Tri-County Scholarship Fund hosted its 21st Annual Golf Invitational at the Morris County Golf Club. We at the TCSF office prepared for the rain that was forecasted to come our way, gathering contact information from our golfers and arriving early that morning armed with boxes of golf umbrellas. However, despite a previous week of stormy weather, the sun shone brightly on the green throughout the entirety of the day!
The day was a great success, and thanks to our generous sponsors and attendees, TCSF raised over $150,000 for the children of Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties who receive scholarships to attend private schools.
This event could not have been put together without the help of many different people, from the members of the golf committee to the three TCSF employees and Young Professionals volunteers. The efforts of all these volunteers came to fruition with the arrival of 120 golfers, the donation of 37 auction items, the purchasing of 218 raffle tickets and sponsorships from Bank of America and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The Golf Invitational was a complete success, not only with how the day went but because of the generosity that each participant showed and which now will change the lives of many children!
Congratulations to the Golf Committee for another exceptional outing!
With your donation, students are given need-based scholarships to attend elementary and high schools where they are virtually guaranteed to graduate and then go on to college. You can make a transformative difference in their lives by contributing to the Tri-County Scholarship Fund. None of us can do everything but each of us can do something.
