16th Annual Golf Outing Promises Great Time For All

Tri-County Scholarship Fund will host its 16th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Morris County Golf Club in Convent Station. Played on Morris County's famed course, the event is a major source of funding for the education of inner-city children in New Jersey. This year we hope to surpass the goal of $200,000.00.

At this event golfers play a challenging round after a delightful lunch. There are many prizes on and off the course, a delicious buffet dinner and the drawing of a 50/50 raffle with three winners sharing upwards of $15,000.00.

This year, the Golf Outing boasts a number of new enhancements. It will include, for the first time, a Tennis Tournament and clinic. Another addition will be a Ladies' Spa Day, including manicures, pedicures, facials and massages.

During lunch and dinner and throughout the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Silent Auction. In addition to sports memorabilia and theatre tickets, guests will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind items like dinner at the Pluckemin Inn (voted New Jersey's top restaurant), an evening dinner cruise for six on the Hudson River aboard a private sailing yacht, or a one week vacation at an ocean-side villa in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, in addition to theater and concert tickets.

Regardless of who wins the golf performance prizes or the 50/50 raffle, the real winners are the children who will benefit from the scholarships we are able to provide because of the success of this event. So, mark your calendars and plan to be there!
